There's not much sealing material in the gasket to begin with, any little warpage in the housing will leak that's why I lightly use RTV because I don't wanna take it apart again.

I think the housings are warped... Gee are you using the renix housings?

Update...

On a whim a took a look at my spare motor. Thing has never been cracked open or messed with much, so I'm confident it's all stock.

I noticed the bottom bolt on the housing was smaller than the stock one, so I used the spare motor's correct bolt.

Hopefully that was it.

I also slapped rtv on the gasket, between gasket and head. Gasket did have adhesive, so I stuck that to the housing.

Letting it sit now, I did let it cure for a bit before sticking it on. Maybe 10 min.
