If you never go over 40 mph then go for it, they are not good for on road driving, they are really heavy.

I had a 95 ford f-150 with 35/12.5/16's Thornbirds and they were awesome on/off road. On road the tire will only ride on the center most tread to provide a quiet, smooth ride. Off-road they sink down a bit and grab with the entire tread. I will admit when these tires had about 30,000 they started to be noisey and vibrate on the road. These tires are self-cleaning. I would recommend them 100%. But what do I know I just ran them from new to bald.

Very inflexible tire and considered a lousy mud tire. they were designed for desert use in the cacti and to have a thorn proof tread when you run over one.

Their kinda like a street legal dirt bike, they look ok but they aren't very good on the street or in the dirt.

I think they work amazing for what they were designed for, but as a tire you'd use all the time on-road...no.

I agree, if I were to do a lot of street driving I wouldn't use them.
