Trying different shock lenghts

Trying different shock lenghts
so i have a 6 inch skyjacker lift and have sky jacker hydro 8000 shock and blew out both rear shocks. wanting to upgrade to some bilsteins and i know my shocks are:
Front - H7049
Extended Length (in)28.750 in.Collapsed Length (in)16.560 in.
Rear - H7063
Extended Length (in)27.070 in.Collapsed Length (in)15.940 in
should i stay with same length? or try different lenght like one that will give me more downtravel? and also how to find how much up and down travel i have with those shocks. lastly if it matters im running 33inch KM2s
