Trunk Jammed

Hey guys I have a 91 jeep xj, my trunk recently got jammed after i closed it. any tips and advise on how to open the trunk form the out side?? also when i bought the car the owner before me switched out the trunk keyhole with a push in button.. Any tips and advise would be awesome thanks.

They are push button from the factory, and the only way into it is from the inside, IIRC. You may wind up trashing your interior panel as well, but they are plentiful and cheap, so no biggie. HTH!!
