Is this true?
Here is what I use. Cheep and way stronger and better design than anything on the market.

I tow my 24 foot pontoon boat with my cherokee. And it ways in at about 3500 trailer and all.
Also, not to be in anyones "kitchen" again, but there is absolutly no reason to swap in a d44 if you are running 35 inch tires or less. The d35 is a piece of sh@t but the cryco 8.25 is one of the most underated axle out there and one of the best.(for 35 inches or less) The 8.25 is strong as hell and easy to maintain and if you were to break it, it is one of the simplest axles out there. How many of you people out there have actually broke one??? Or is it something you read on some forum.
I have been running one on my main trail rig for over 3 years with welded spiders and 34 inch ltb super swampers and I go places I shouldnt(you would'nt believe me if I told you) and I go where all of the BIG BOYS go and I have never broke an axle. Why mess with something that aint broke.
