Is this true?
I heared so many people talking about broken driveshafts in Jeeps and I saw some people welded chains to hold it when it disconnects or breaks!!
Does this often happen in Jeeps?

Bhahaha! Thats a new one on me. I'm an expert at snapping the ears off yokes & blowing up u-joints, but driveshafts themselves just dont "break". The worst I've done close to that was a long burnout in my 2wd XJ with a nasty neutral drop, and stood on it for awhile before letting up. Resulted in twisting my driveshaft and required an entire re-tube.

well, I think they mean the "universal joints" break

Yeah, you can break stock u-joints with a little lift, a little traction, and alot of stupid pedal. Thats why, for as much of a moron as I am, I've really calmed down on the "When in doubt, throttle out!" theory.
My other XJ's with 3"-5" lifts and only 31" tires snapped u-joints, and my last big one on 6.5" of lift with 35" Intero tires would sheer the ears right off the yoke on the differential. Rolling into the gas > punching it.

skinny pedal syndrome and be hell on a weak drive line. i think the chains would be to keep the drive shaft from blowing threw the floor boards. high performance drag cars use drive shft isolators to keep the spinnin rods in place in case of joint failure. maybe the chains do the same thing???

they'd act like a makeshift driveshaft loop. so it dosent go to the ground and rip your rear end out from under the vehicle a real loop goes over top too so it cant go through the floor. these just go under not around. its piece of mind.

I'd never hang a chain or anything slack around a drive shaft.
On a Jeep they are usually turning super low RPMs and crawling off road.
If you break a drive shaft then its no big deal.
On a race car you are spinning high RPMs at high speed. Under that circumstance a drive shaft hoop is just common sense.
