Yes i am looking at locking my 8.25 and also putting 4.56 gears. Just wondering which one is better. The Trac lock is cheaper. But will it work on my Cherokee that i drive everyday. This the only jeep I have owned that i needed something like this the other 20 I have owned I just pull the welder out and lock it. LOL. Just need some opinions. It has 35" km2's on it I drive more on street but i need it to work in the mud and dirt really well.

yeah the true track i think is the better one, all metal gears and you can have it set up to unlock be for an axle break. you have to order it with the right gear set u have .

True track is gear driven and will last forever if you don't break it, track lock uses clutch plates that wear out over about 2-3 years and need replaced.
