Default Trim or not to trim, Bumper ends.

I don't know if this is even a technical question or not. I'm waiting for my tow hooks to arrive and I had this picture in my mind that my Jeep would look better of my front lower part of the trim is cut away to have room around the hooks. Add clearance maybe.

Should I do it or not. Here's a picture where I outlined where I want to trim away. I know the middle piece comes off with some kind of push on screws and I would have to trim the ends to match.

Not my Jeep BTW.

Ya that's always the first thing to go in my book! I think it just makes the jeep look shorter & on my friends 2001 w/ 2" lift I told him its coming off wether we take it off or the trail does! Lol so I say go for it just do it right & make it look clean/factory!

I was going to take the bumper ends off and cut away where it meets the bottom part of the bumper. Match the middle piece. Any picture of what it looks like?

ditch the end caps all together. i've seen people also trim the bumper itself at an angle on each side.

Cut the whole bottom off. You'll gain clearance and it looks better. Might not wanna do it if you plan to use the fog lights.

Here's mine after I trimmed off the lower portion.

and if you run the factory skid, it looks badass:

if you take off the whole bumper you will find 3 little rivets, punch them out and out that peice will fall. then just cut the endcaps.

Heres mine looks like i have a small lift but its stock

Damn, I'm def doing mines. It looks so good with it trimed off. I might do it later on today. It shows the whole bottom of the Jeep more instead of hiding it. I don't have fog lights, so I'm good. It should look good with hooks down there too.
