Hi guys, I have a 96 xj with a bum transmission. I have been tracking down transmissions near me for a while and I found one for a good price. The trans is from a 97, so my question is, can I swap a 97 into my 96 or are they not compatible?

 

97 trans into a 96 isn't a direct swap but is possible. There is some wiring work that needs to be done.
