ok, not sure where to start! i have a 97 jeep cherokee country 4x4, i recently replaced the transmission with a jy one. this morning i finshed buttoning every thing up and went to crank it up and it will not start. it turns over but will not crank. when i bought it from the junkyard the guy made a big deal of where the torque converter was when i installed. from what i understand, if the torque converter wasnt correctly placed, i wouldnt have been able to bolt it up? so i guess my question is, is there something wrong with the trans that could cause this or do i need to start somewhere esle. side note, i can hear the fuel pump kicking on and i tried spraying starter fluid in it and still nothing happens.
thanks in advance!!
