ok so this may be posted but i couldnt find it anywhere. im leaking transmission fluid pretty bad a friend says rear main seal. but the fluid is all gathered up below the rear mount by the tcase. ive read it can be the transmission pump seal.
any ideas or even advice to narrow it done.

 

The pump's up front behind the torque converter. Anything dripping from the bellhousing? Best thing to do is clean it all off really good and look for the source of the leak.

 

Do as Radi suggests. I think your friend is referring to the rear trans seal. 2wd or 4wd?

i havent tried cleaning it off yet. havent had the time
