Default Transmission line quick connect Clips?

I had a hell of a weekend somehow my mechanical fan got thrown off the spindle trashed my radiator. I mash down the quick connects with needle nose pliers to change the line, they broke when I tried bending them back.

Does anybody know if you can just buy the quick connect clip that goes inside the line?

Says 87-95, and the part numbers for the lines themselves seemed to change after 1995, so I don't know if these work.

You should able to get them at autozone, napa, oriellys and such, or online try rockauto, qudratec, etc... I have bought replacements at my local autoparts store.

ideally, swap out the delicate failure prone plastic bits for a hose and clamp. Make a flare on the end of tubing with a flare tool, or use the rib around the tubing which holds the plastic bits as a barb to secure the hose over, with clamp. I have gotten rid of several of those crummy factory plastic connectors this way, a few more to go. why have fickle fragile connectors, specially when camping 50 miles in on a trail. a bard, a hose and a hose clamp, that is rugged, easy to repair, smarter.

Yeah thats the type part the napa guy thought I ment to. This kind of illustrates the part that I'm talking about, the metal clip inside of that part. https://www.jegs.com/i/Dorman-Produc...0-751/10002/-1

The help is much appreciated guys, I just need the clip on the other end (metal female end), hopefully if such a thing exists. It would be a shame to need a 50$ line because of a 1$ part.

heres another look at the clip:

this would be a good opportunity to get rid of those pesky critters that are prone to leak. I replaced mine with a Parker fitting and now I have no leaks or plastic retainers :

Chrysler's bad design regurgitated by Doorman

Parker's fitting, MSC part # 80258445

installed - no more leaks!
