Transmission Line leaking at Transmission

I would put the clip on the line. There is a "ridge" on the cooler line that the plastic clip has to hook over. Be careful not to chip the o-ring when inserting the line and clip. Push it straight in, and you should feel it click into place.

Put the line in the connector all the way and keep line straight as possible. Then push the clip in. O'Reillys has the new screw in connectors with metal clips which are better than the plastic clips

Thought id follow up. It turns out that, along with the o rings in the connector being shot, the line itself also had a crack in it by the flare. I pulled the whole line out of the jeep and noticed. Bought a replacement at Oreillys for $30 and installed, no more leak. Thanks for the help guys.

I bought and installed both new lines when i did my rebuild...nice to have dry concrete under your jeep huh? Good Job!

Exactly....well sorta, it still marks its spot. Next on the list: rear main seal lol. Thanks for the help.
