Default transmission jerking

hey anyone my transmission started jerking and slamming while im at highway speed. it must be an electrical problem b/c the tranny was rebuilt 30k miles ago and the fluid is clean and metal free right? could it be the throttle body position sensor? HELP

While just cruising at highway speed? Or while you are accelerating to highway speed and changing gears? The throttle position sensor (TPS) is definitely suspect. I'd definitely consider detaching and cleaning your IAC (idle air control valve) with carb cleaner and an old toothbrush while you're at it.

On another note, what kind of shape is your transmission mount in?

TPS aka Throttle Position sensor could be the culprit. Are you handy with a simple voltmeter and up to some simple testing?

I had this exact issue. It seemed like the tranny was disengaging but was throwing cam senser codes. Replaced CPS, then the TPS. No help.

It didn't go away, so I replaced the coil pack and plugs because everyone likes to preach about the copper core spark plugs. But I finally did the crankshaft position sensor, and that fixed it.
