I have a 91 XJ with tranny problems. It has a leak dripping off the bell housing but my major concern is the noise. It has a grinding/clanking noise in the bell housing area. It does it when you first rev it and when it gets warmed up more. Not very good on transmissions so I was looking for some guidence. Thanks.

 

could be your tuque converter nuts need to be tightened

and are you sure its tranny fluid and not engine oil my be rear main seal
