Default Transmission fluid
Quick question. I was told to use dexron 3 for tranny and transfer case. This is the closest thing I could find. Will this be fine?

I believe all the Cherokee's use ATF+4, not Dexron III.

I'm an idiot. It's for the transfer case not transmission. Yea you are right, I was told atf3 or atf4 for tranny and dex/mero for transfer case.

Bad advise, use Dex III for both.

That's a change Chrysler made years after they stopped making Cherokees. It's also known to destroy the aw4 so I wouldn't reccomend it.
