Default transmission crossmember bolt stipped...

So I replaced the transmission mount yesterday as the old one was pretty mushy. All went well until I began to tighten the passenger side bolt which ties the crossmember to the frame. The bolt seated completely however did not fully tighted. After removing the bolt I found thread remnants on the threads of the bolt.

My question: is there a nut on the inside of the frame which I managed to strip, or is the frame itselt actually threaded?

What do you guys think? Drill and tap? Other options?
