Can a cps be the cause of tranny slippage, could the kickdown cable be the cause too?

i dont have a clue about your tranny but it sounds like you need a new fuse for your blinker

I had the same problem with my blinker, only I turned the Jeep off, turned it on again, and it worked fine. I don't think replacing the fuse would accomplish much, but then again im new to all of this..

The blinker thing happened to me right after I got an oil change, but just lik thaclav, I just turned it off and back on, back to normal.

Sometimes when I turn on my emergency flashers, they will stop flashing and stay on solid, kind of strange.

If it were a problem with the fuse, wouldn't it not come on at all?

Blinker is probably a bad ground issue.
The tranny downshift and slipping is a TPS problem. On a 90 they are adjustable and yours is either worn or out of adjustment.
