Default Transmission cooler lines

Hello I have a leak in my trans cooler line, the one that feeds to the bottom of radiator. 1987 Cherokee. The original line was replaced by previous owner with fuel line I suppose and fuel clamps. Might end up doing the same but was wondering if anyone knows whe sells the original or if a part number is know? Looking for the one with those weird connectors at the end. If all else fails I’ll use hose and clamps? Does anyone know what size off the top of thier head? Thinking 3/8 maybe

I got the complete pair of lines for a late model tranny from Advance auto several years ago...was only 30 or 40 bucks....don't know how far back they go.

thank you for the replies, so it looks like both the lines that come out of the transmission are good. The one that im trying to find is the smaller hose that goes from the lower radiator to the cooler itself. I cant seem to find a part # for this one anywhere, might just use clamps and hose if need be

You have the auxilary cooler, not on every model. Couldnt find anything aftermarket. Self repair should do just fine, the lines are 3/8.

For the longest time, mine (I do have the aux cooler) was connected using a plain hose and a few clamps. Since the hard line coming out of the rad is meant for a disconnect, there's a big ridge that the hose could not slip over. The PO split the hose a bit to fit over and used 2 hose clamps. One to help retain the hose on the fitting and the other to seal. It worked well enough. I did find a NOS hose that I kept handy just in case. When I did a cooling system refresh a while back, I put the NOS hose on.

You can see the 2 hose clamps here.

The NOS hose with part number.

Looks like the hose is still available (albeit a bit pricy)

thank you so much, looks like the side that connects to the cooler uses a clamp and the other end near the rad has the disconnect.

thank you again, very much appreciated

I changed over to an-6 lines and never looked back. Strong, flexible, no plastic involved. I also convert stock trans fittings to use an-6 lines. In my post history if you are interested. Ric
