Default Transmission cooler line problem

I replaced my XJ radiator with an after market one. The I went on and replaced the lower transmission cooler line.
Everything was going great just before the last connection. While connecting transmission line to radiator I realized the fitting was loose.
Started the engine to realize how bad would the leak be. Not surprising, it was not a leak the oil was pouring out of the quick disconnect.
I checked both parts for damage but found nothing. Everything looks just fine.
Can I get some advice as to how to tighten the quick-disconnect fitting? How to stop leakage?

You cannot tighten those fittings. You can put in a new o-ring. Use a pick to pry the old one out and get a similar one at the parts store. The lines are available at Oreillys and Advance auto and Rock auto.

Another option is cut the quick disconnect off the line and use high pressure fuel line. Put 2 clamps on each side so the line does not blow off.

Finally got it fixed.
McGyvering it, this is what I did first. I didn't work obviously that's just on TV.

After following Rn advice, went to ace hardware store and got a compression fitting joint and voila...

You may want to double clamp the hose to keep it from blowing off the fitting.

Hey, I hate to but in, but the line in Chino's picture is one I'm having a problem with also. I took the line off at the radiator as in the picture, but the other end doesn't go to the transmission as I thought. It goes back to the radiator on the passenger side. I got a lower transmission cooler line from the parts store but it is not the correct one. Can anyone tell me the name of the line? Thanks for any assistance.
