Transmission???

Well i have a couple transmission pan bolts that got stripped out? I was gonna just tap em one size bigger but i had a friend recommend to time insert it? Whatcha all think? Hows the time inserts work?

are you talking about a helicoil? if so they work good.

so you recommend to helicoil em?

thats how I fix stuff like that. I've even used them to fix stripped rocker arms on GM 3.4's & 3.1's, if they can hold up there, I say no worries on an oil pan!
