Default Am I Screwed

So the other night me and my buds found an open lot that was flat. And usually whats the first thought when you see a flat open lot? Yeah, spin donuts! so that's just what we did. And then I decided to rally run across it, which was pretty fun but bouncey.
Then now today I get in my jeep start it up and it cranks over, but right as it picks up there is a clanking noise that lasts for maybe 1 second if that. It sounds like it's coming from the tranny. Which scares me, but when I put it in gear it drives forward and backward and all around perfectly fine. Should I change out my tranny oil or might it be something else?

Manual or Auto?

EDIT: Never mind, noticed yours has the AW-4.

Might wanna check your torque converter bolts. They may be loose.

Are those bolts located on the outside of the car? Or do I have to remove the tranny to get to them? Thanks

No, you don't need to remove the tranny. Remove the inspection plate and check them. Just have someone rotate the engine with a ratchet & socket on the crank pulley bolt & tighten them if they are loose.

If that doesn't work, not sure what to tell you, friend.....

Is this what you are hearing? The clunk when he hits the gas?

Well no, it's just a clunk. And the only time I hear it is when I first start my jeep. Then there is no clunky noise. It's weird.

If you could get video, or try to find a more accurate location of the noise that would help.

One clunk or multiple clunks related to engine speed?

If your exhaust pipe touches/hits at all it can be pretty noisy. The vibration can "radio" into the cab. Was it already falling off? Also the left hand motor mount can be prone to breaking, that can let the engine move a little (+ trany mount). Do you feel new-extra vibration from the floor? Maybe in your "fit of wisdom" you freed something up? Rednecks famous last words? "Hey everybody, watch this!"

I'm definitely filing "fit of wisdom" into my smarta$$ comment arsenal.

Yes it does click right after the engine picks up and that clank lasts for 1 second ish. It is only one clank and it does not clank again once the rpms are raised. I believe it is a couple of loose bolts that need to be tightened since it isn't a grinding noise whih would mean a larger problem.

On a side note is it possible to post a video without having a youtube account? Like posting the video directly to here?
