Default the transformation

ok i started out with this thing a few months ago and i went a little overboard kinda quick. i bought it in january, when i walked up to it the first time it had a puddle of oil sitting under it that you could float an ocean going ship in. the chic i bought it from tried to replace the starter but after three weeks she only managed to get the thing halfway off. needless to say 15 minutes later i had the starter on it and started. it was leaking from the oil filter adapter but other than cosmetic stuff it wasn't that bad. it ran ok and it didn't smell like old gym socks. so i gave her a grand for it. i got it home and called up 4wd hardware and spent a good bit of money....

this is what it looked like when i first got it

nothing special....then i added a rubicon express 5.5 lift and 33's. along with an olympic rear rock bumper and an or fab front winch bumper

then i put on my roof rack

then i painted it and i'm trying to put my lockers in

its a work in progress. hopefully i'll have it finished in time enough for memorial day. we're going down to the superlift orv park in hot springs...of which i'm a member...its great. anyone and everyone should make a trip there sometime..its a blast!!!

Cool transformation. My XJ project is only two weeks old now- I believe I have all the mechanical issues resolved other than the cracked exhaust manifold. That I am just going to live with for now as it is pretty quiet once it warms up.

I want to see bigger pictures too- of the side as well as the bumpers (need ideas for my fabbing of bumpers- too cheap to buy them!).
