Default transfercase...oops!

i had to take out my tcase one more time after installing the SYE cause i put RTV on a greasy surface and it didnt stick which caused leaks, so i cracked it back open, put new RTV and connected speedo gear and THATS IT! no breather hose, no other connections. i completely forgot and drove like 3 days without any of it connected...really scarred to find out what i have potentually ****ed up,,ima reconnect everythign tomarro morning.

You should be OK if you didn't take it through any water or mud.

So what exactly might be the problem? You did fill it back up with fluid afterwards, right? I don't see why there'd be any harm done otherwise if you're just street driving.

exactly what i was wondering.. and no i was just street driving and yes i did fill it up with oil. just wondering if something could go wrong while driving with everything disconnected, there there for a reason, theres a purpose for the connections so i though what would happen if they wernt connected. thats all. but its all good i will connect them tomarro mornin
