transfer swap
Hi, the vehicle is 1999 2.5 manual AX5 and NV231 command track transfer. Question is if I can I fit the select track 242 on this transmission without any modification or extra parts etc? it would be great to have a full time 4X4 in some occasions

https://www.novak-adapt.com/knowledg...g-input-gears/ shows the AX5 has a 21-spline input, which is going to significantly limit your choices of a donor. You might need to deal with drive shaft lengths too, as the 242 case is a bit longer and you might be changing output shaft styles.
