Transfer Case Swap Questions
After reading quite a few posts, I was convinced that swapping my transfer case would be an eas 1-2 hour job. Its not (at least for me).
After searching and wrenching then searching and wrenching some more, I can't figure out how to get my TC shift linkage apart! Its driving me nuts.
I'll try to do this in a picture. This is looking up from the driver's side toward the linkage. First I tried disconnecting the rod from the transfer case mount at the yellow arrow. No dice, didn't feel like there was enough play to move it out.
Then I disconnected the bolts at the green arrows. Didn't seem to get me anything.
Then I disconnected the bolt at the blue arrow. Again, nothing.
I haven't taken out the bolts at the red arrows yet and I'm hoping I don't have to, because it looks like I'll have to take out the center console so I can get the carpet back to take the bolts out.
Any help would be appreciated.

Okay so I realized my Google Doc was worthless.
Update, I finally figured out how to get the linkage off, you don't need to take the bolts out connecting the linkage to the body.
New problem. how in the heck do you get the passenger side transfer case bolts off? Any kind of wrench/socket you guys have used with success? No matter how much I lower or raise the tc-transmission, the exhaust is right in the way. I've got the lower bolt and the two on the driver's side out, but the three on the passenger side has me baffled.
