electric fan not turning on

electric fan not turning on
Well i just bought a 97 xj with 156xxx miles and i just noticed the my electric fan is no turning on. How do i go about trouble shooting this.

Go to your fuse panel under the hood by the a/c accumulator and swap the relay for a different relay under there. On my 98, the starter relay was the same number and type as the electric fan relay. Yours might be different but just look. I had the car running and then plugged in the other relay and it turned on.
