transfer case swap???
i noticed the auto transfer has part time high, and full time high 4x4, the manual has full time 4x4 high only, can it be swapped on a 92 cherokee?

Depends on the input shaft of the t-case and the output shaft of the tranny.

but you can swap some parts in the transfer case. i had to do it on my 93 grand cherokee that had full time 4x4. i wanted one i could put in 2x4 also so i got a wrangler transfer case from an 89 but i had to swap the output gear to the front axle because mine used a different type of joint then the wrangler and i needed a longer output gear. it wasn't hard to do until the putting the case back together part. that sucked because i couldn't get it to line up. other then that, very easy job. try to get one that is as close as possible to your though.
