Transfer Case Question

Transfer Case Question
So I went to engage my 91 XJ into 4 High today and nothing. Then tried 4 Lo and nothing again. I know the front end is locked in because I have a manual Posi-Lok system. So that rules out the vacuum lines. Also, when shifting back to both 4 High and Lo the handle has no "grab" in it. Usually the handle locks in place but it is not locking at all. By the way it has theNP231 Transfer Case in it.
Any idea what the problem could be??
