Transfer Case question.....
If one were to replace their Transfer Case seals (for example: where the t-case splits in half)....How much more work would it be to replace the chain? (93 cherokee sport auto trans)

Are you planning on pulling the tcase out to do it? I've never done it before but I would assume it wouldn't be too much more difficult if you're already taking it apart. Pretty sure it's just a matter of pulling out the shaft to get the chain loose. And if you already have the tcase out and apart, that should be the easiest part. At least that's just what I'm thinking

If you are already cracking open the transfer case, replacing the chain is just as easy as sliding the front shaft forward a tad to release the pressure of the old chain, and putting the new chain on. Literally just slips in there...
