What transfer case is in my 2001 XJ? It does not have the part time option.

Thanks it seems I have the NP231. My shift pattern is 2H 4H N 4L.

Its not labeled part time. It works fine I have a 4.5 in Rough Country lift and I was checking to see if I needed a SYE.

I believe all transfer cases with that shift pattern are part time only.
