I have a '00 sport police issue. automatic. i need to know how to set the linkage. the 4x4 handle always rattles. then i went on a trial ride and couldnt engage anything. i since had her outback and tried the 4x4 again w/ some success. i got 4L to engage after some grinding and heavy pulls on the lever. it didnt pop out either. could this be just adjustment or a bigger issue?
Transfer case linkage adjustment.... this is what i put in as a search. didnt get anywhere.

There is a kit to get for this. Comes with all the bushings you need to stop the rattle. I just pulled my linkage about 6 months ago when I bought the kit cause it was rattling. Almost snow time so ill be putting it in tomorrow.
