hi, i bought a wrangler YJ, and when i got home, i saw that my transfer case (NP231) whas leaking oil. it whas dripping down on the exast.
the thing is i dont realy know where on the transfer case it leaks. the only thing i know is that it has ben dripping and that it's empty of oil now.

where do you guys think it leaking from?

 

Looks like either, where the two halfs come together, or where the tail cone is bolted on.

 

i just rememberd somthing.

it don't seems to leak when the car has ben standing still. but if you drive it for a wile and park, it start dripping (if it dropps when the car is being driven, i dont know)
