Default transfer case

i cant not figure out how to do the transfer case drop how do you do it and is it just mine or in the front bold different than the second bolt on the cross member

yeah, different bolts. one is a stud and the other is a normal bolt.

use two nuts on the stud, turn them tight against each other and remove by the upper nut. that will take out the stud.

then replace with a regular bolt.

yeah i know. i'm saying thread two other nuts onto the stud that is sticking out of the frame, tighten them against each other then remove stud by wrenching from the first nut you thread on.

sorry, it's kinda hard to explain if you haven't done it before.

ok now i get it so i put a jack under the cross member then take the 2 nuts off then the 2 bolts off the the 2 studs and lower the cross member then ad spacers and the 4 new bolts does that sound correct

you got it. another trick is to weld the nuts to the studs and take them out that way.(if you have a welder)
