i have a 1990 jeep cherokee and i am wondering when i put it into 4LO it clunks, but its fine in (4 part time , and full time). what do you think this might be? i have a 3in lift but i was thinking it might need a slip yoke

are you shifting into 4lo while the tranny is in neutral? i think mine made a clunk when i accidentally tried to shift into 4lo with the tranny in drive

yes i did it into park just now its fine but slips to about 1500 (rpms) then its fine
