Transfer Case 242 switch
I have a 1992xj with the 242 tc. I replaced it about a year and a half ago with a refurbished 1992 tc from Quadratech.
The problem I'm running into is my old switch (the sensor that tells the ecu if I'm in parttime/fulltime/2wd) does not have a spot in my new tc. My old TC had the sensor in the back (facing rear of xj) below the speedsensor. The new TC has a spot on top of the TC. I purchased a new switch via rockauto, it threads in correctly into the new TC, but when pluged in it does nothing.
It may be a error on my part, but I'm wondering if my jeep possibly has the 1993 wiring/switch position. I know my radio wiring was 199, not 1992. So I want to know where everyone's 1992 TC switch is. Trying to figure out why I'm lacking my light of glory.
