Default Transfer case?
Have a 94 xj with the np231 t case. My chain is stretched and tapping the bottom of the case. Should I replace chain or replace whole t case. People told me it's not worth it to pull the case apart to fix it.

your sure its not a bad front DS? does it get worse when in 4wd?

Yes you can swap the chain with the case in the rig, done it many times.

Can't use 4wd. I have 2different gear ratios. I'm wanting to get everything done for the winter
