Ok I have done research and it seems as though the shifter cable needs adjustment but it was just adjusted by the previous owner before I bought it. It now threw the code again so I did more research and people have said that the trans range sensor is dirty and just needs to be cleaned and replaced and the CEL will go out. Are there any other symptoms of this or any tricks to fix the minnor issue?

I also noticed the last two times I drove it I couldnt take the key out when I shut it off and had to push the gear shifter into park further. Could the shifter cable or rod be bad and need repalcement?
