You ever figure this out? I'm havin the same problem but with the one further forward. I bought a new connector but if all I need to do is replace o rings that'd be easier.

you can get a kit from the dealer that is called a transmission line disconnect repair kit. It comes with the plastic snap thingy and the orings. If you ask them for it they'll know, this happens on a lot of XJs. When it happened to mine, right below the mech. fan, I cut off the disconnect ends on the metal lines, flared the ends and hose clamped some rubber transmission cooler line on there. Hasn't leaked at all since I did it in the Spring and now I don't have that stupid connector and seal to worry about!

If you look in my pics, you can see the part I decided to amputate!

I believe you can get a Dorman P/N 800-714....to correct the leaking. Very easy to change....

Link to a much cheaper permanent solution. Read the whole thread and do it to all sofr trans lines, then don't ever worry again.

Repeat after me:
QUICK CONNECTS ARE EXPENSIVE CRAP THAT WILL BREAK OR LEAK AT THE WORST TIME AND THE ENGINEER WHO DECIDED TO PUT THEM ON MY JEEP SHOULD BE SLAPPED WITH A LUG WRENCH.
