Exclamation Trans ISSUES!!

ive tried searching and still no clue...i have a 1998 auto cherokee sport. heres the issue.... i have 1 2 3 gears shifting fine and when i go to step on the gas and go into od it seems to bogg and not jump like the normal torqe.... i just changed the trans fluid and new filter and there were no chunks in the pan ... feels like a slipping clutch would im lost ... !!! silenoid or something idk !!!

Controls trans line pressure.

it shows how to adjust it, its a video I made about a year ago for someone on here.
You just push in a button and then push in the cable. After that you rotate the throttle to WOT and youre done.
Dont know if itll fix your problem but its always the first thing I suggest when someones jeep wont downshift, since its easy and free.

ahhh ...ill give it a try thanks .... idk what to do im going bazzerk... its slow as can be because i cant step on the gas

Read the PM.
Check your TV cable, do what I mentioned in the PM and give us an update.
If its not that, you have some worse problems (maybe new trans time)

when you adjust the cable instead of using the throttle body linkage use the gas pedal while holding button this is a common mistake the gas pedal may not open the throttle body the same amount as the pedal will

this is the tv cable also called detent cable and kick down cable, hold the button down and have some one push the gas pedal to the floor, the cable will self adjust if needed then release button then let gas pedal up xj does not need to be running during this adjustment procedure.
