Default Trans issue after cooling system/injectors install

Just replaced the radiator, water pump, thermostat + housing and fuel injectors. Cooling system parts replaced due to leak in lower hose. Heavy scale build up on inspection made me change it all out. Coolant temp gauge didn't work before just replaced the sender and it still doesn't work. WTF?

I can run it through all the gears and they engage. However when in OD it doesn't seem to shift, it feels like its in high or overdrive. The engine will rev to about 2000 RPM then gradually the vehicle gains speed. Only took it on a test run around the block. HELP !

Would resetting the computer for the injectors kicked it into a fail safe mode?

I'm just guessin' fer grins here, but maybe the TV cable got bumped while you were workin' on it? Mine didn't have any shift issues, but I read about the TV cable adj. on here and just had to try it. Shifting did improve a little(i think). And on a related note, my brake switch mount broke and after some research on here, I found out that switch also affects OD or torque converter lockup, or was it both. Anyhoo.. hope this might help.

Thanks for the input. I adjusted the TV cable both direction and no change. I will have to find the brake switch mount.

Look up under the passenger side dash below the glovebox. Your TCU is located there. In some yellow tape is an inline fuse that could be blown or corroded.
