Tranny Swap wiring connectors
I gave my grandson my 96 Cherokee sport and he wants an automatic so I found an AW4 with all the wiring harness, ECU, TCU, peddles etc. So I’m teaching him what pain it is to swap a tranny. Yes, I made him learn to drive the stick shift just so he knows how.
While changing the harness I found that the connectors to the TPS, MAP, IAC, and Temperature are different. I was told that everything came out of a 96.
My question, is there a difference between 91 – 96, or did I get a late 96 or 97?
I was think about re-pin the connector or should I switch the TPS, MAP IAC, and Temperature sensors?
Thanks in advance
