Default Tranny or P/S fluid?

I have a leak that is comming from/near my power stearing gear box. Its brignt red and looks just like tranny fluid. I can see a line that runs from the radiator to the tranny. My question is does tranny fluid run up to the radiator or does coolant run back to the tranny? Im just trying to figure out what im dealing with because i cant tell exatly where the leak is comming from. Theres also a hissing/humming sound when i make a left turn. Any ideas?

The transmission cooler is inside the radiator, so from the trans to the rad. That being said, some use trans fluid in their power steering. Have you checked the ps
or transmission fluid levels?

You can get some trans fluid dye from napa or a parts house put it in ur power steering fluid and get a black light wash area real good run it and use dye lite to locate the leak...

You can do the same for all leaks you can not find easily... just use the correct dye for the application....

So i think i narrowed it down to the tranny line that runs out of the bottom of the radiator. I cleaned everything really good and im going to see if i can tell where the leak is w/o buying that blacklight color stuff.
