Default Tranny mount problems

Hey guys,

I just put in a new tranny mount in my 1999 Cherokee as mine was still factory and really squishy. Bought the replacement from Napa. While installing I thought it was strange that it was angled a bit (lower towards the rear of the Jeep...it took a lot of work, but I got it all back together and ready to go.

Test drive time. Even just pulling out of my garage I could hear "knock, knock, knock" under the cup holders that was consistent with vehicle speed. Also, I could hear the exhaust ever so slight vibrating on the cross-member. I just pulled back into the garage and threw my hands up. Lot's of work to make my Jeep un-driveable!

Any ideas? I'm thinking I got a bad mount from Napa...but not 100% sure.

Thanks!

I dont remember new mount being angled. But glad u figured it out. I was gonna say new mounts are always a little stiff at first.
