Default tranny lines

Both of my transmission lines was leaking where the rubber turned into metal so I cut those sections out and just connected them with hose and clamps. Just wondering if it will be fine or should I get the actual lines for it?

We used double clamps when attaching the new rubber tranny hose to the metal lines after the cooler install. That's been 2 1/2 + years ago and still no issues/leaks.

Thanks for the link and I've never replaced lines before on vehicles just cut and splice but being 4wd didn't know if it had too much pressure or not.

Default zip tie cuts tranny line

Because standard stainless clamps have a bit if a flat by the screw, if I use two I put them opposite, a flat on ether side.

Get this! A plastic zip tie is making a groove in my line! A bit hard to see in the photo. Vibration and dust were cutting it. I caught on the eve if a 1,000 mile trip...

Good thing u caught it. As soon as it warms up here I'm going to start looking over everything. Seems like the previous owner never did much but rig s**t up. One of the intake bolts are broke so he has two hose clamps looped together pulling on a bolt to hold it in place. Seems to be working but looks like crap and I probably need to see if its leaking.
