Default Tranny Flush Questions

My trans fluid is looking a lil dark, Time to change the fluid.. I know Dextron III is what is recommended. Any tricks o the trade or andthing else I should be replacing? Im able to just drain the fluid from under the Jeep correct? I saw a drainplug for the trans , So I assume I can. ANy info or things to do or look for when Im doing this would be appreciated

Draining and replacing the tranny fluid is a good idea, but it's not really a 'flush'. The torque converter still holds a fair amount of fluid after you drain it. You can have it professionaly flushed, but it's $100+ for that. If you drain it, you should pull the pan and change the filter/screen too.
