I just had my tranny filter and fluid replaced, but I didn't have it flushed, no need to unnecessarily mess up a 16 year old transmission I figured. But the fluid in the lines was still dark and mixed with the new, so I wanted to replace the fluid again, and again in another couple hundred miles. Can anyone tell me how much I will need when I drain it from the tranny? Thanks.

 

I'm gonna do mine in a few days i believe yours takes 3.25 quarts. I have a 4 cly with the ax-5 and that takes 3.3 I was searching for the capacity of my tranny and found these two sites wich gave me a lot of info

I'd buy 6 qts, add 4 and start checking the dip stick per the instructions in the owners manual. AW4, I presume.
