Tranny cooler lines dorman, OE, or repair options?
The crimps where the rubber hoses meet the metal lines are leaking on my 98' and need attention. I'd follow the rule that OE replacememts are best if the originals were'nt dripping all over the place. Anybody have recommendations based on real experience?

I cannot say that I speak from experience, as of yet. However, the ideal way to repair them, would be to cut off the leaky section and slide the rubber hose over the metal line, then secure them w/ at least two hose clamps per connection. You could even flare the metal lines to help secure the hose, if you felt the need for extra security.
I have been running mine for quite some time with leaky lines. I have a tranny cooler that I will be installing soon. When I do, I plan on replacing all quick connects w/ hose barbs and clamps. HTH!

That's what I'm thinking. It seems barbed rad fittings, high pressure/oil compatable hose, and good clamps ( not worm clamps that chew up the rubber hose ) are the ticket. I never seem to have the right tool for those quick disconnect high pressure fittings.

Don't own a automatic but what id do is remove the quick disconnect of the tube and stick hose over that there should be a lip where the connector lock onto. place hose clamp past lip should be good to go.
