Default Tranny???

Hey guys I just bought a 97 Cherokee Country with 160k on it for $1000 and the previous owner didnt seem like the kind to keep up on maintenance very well and I was right after jumping into the thing. I was wondering how many quarts my auto tranny holds, also what kind of gear oil do you recommend for the front and rear diffs???

Thanks
Justin

Gear oil should be 80/90 wt and the tranny should use Dextron III or IV don't know how much off hand.

Well I am glad I looked it up for you and I was occupied or you would not have had to wait so long.

Well, in my alldata electronic service link, it says 8L capacity. I have drain the fluid several times through the plug on fluid pan and I got three quarts out every time.
