Default track bar question?

I have a 3'' lift on my 2000 XJ, i put a relocation bracket for the track bar on after the lift (axle side) but however im not satisfied with it, and choose to go with an adjustable track bar now.... My question to you is do i need to remove the bracket before i install the adjustable bar or can i leave the bracket and still run an adjustable bar...

i would take the bracket off it will add unwanted leverage causing the track bar bracket to move and possibly fail

Heres the other thing though, the bolt that was in the original hole on the original bracket, wollowed out the hole a little bit and i was told that the stock bolt (which i have) is supposed to a perfect fit or this same thing will just keep happening. Can i just drill a new hole about 3/4'' over?? Will this work just as good as the original hole on the bracket?

Right. take it off. The point of the adjustable trackbar is to center your axle by itself so there's no need for the bracket.

Which trackbar are you lookin at?

It's a good bar. TGC is rough country's ebay seller so whichever you order from will be good.
